DA leader Mmusi Maimane said on Thursday he has requested a meeting with Zimbabwean president Emmerson Mnangagwa over the alleged clampdown on protesting Zimbabweans. Maimane has been pushing President Cyril Ramaphosa to intervene in Zimbabwe‚ following the heavy-handedness of security forces during a strike over a massive petrol price hike. No bail for Pitch Black Afro as he changes tune on late wife’s injuries

Musician Pitch Black Afro, real name Thulani Ngcobo, has been remanded in custody once again pending judgment on his bail hearing. In his initial affidavit, Ngcobo admitted to assaulting his wife Trisha Modisane but made a U-turn in his supplementary affidavit submitted to the court on Thursday, claiming that she came home with her injuries. Government avails 72 buses for Bulawayo

GOVERNMENT has availed 72 buses that will charge $1 per trip between Bulawayo’s residential suburbs and the Central Business District as part of a broader plan to revamp the urban mass transport system. A SOUTH African mining firm Tumagole Consortium says it is committed to investing R55 billion into the Coal-Bed Methane mining project in Lupane. A MEMBER of the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has been arrested for misconduct after he was shown in a video broadcast on British broadcaster, Sky News, assaulting a civilian in Harare.
