A 26- YEAR-OLD serial thief who escaped from Bulawayo Central Police Station in 2013 after his arrest for stealing 546 cellphones worth about $35 000, yesterday appeared in court. Blessing Gwashavanhu of Kambuzuma in Harare allegedly stole the phones and nearly $7 100 cash from shops in Bulawayo’s Central Business District. A 26-YEAR-OLD self-styled prophet and his 17-year-old “aide” were yesterday arrested for allegedly shooting and seriously injuring two people after firing 25 shots during an armed robbery in Jalukanga area, some 120km west of Beitbridge town. HUMAN remains have been found exposed at two different sites in Kezi, Matobo district. When The Chronicle visited the area, the human remains were scattered along the banks of Bhode River near Kezi Business Centre.
